Adaptive Reuse of a Church | St. John, NB

" A 139-year-old vacant church in Saint John is set to be revived as the Brickyard Creative — a new community hub that will feature space for artists, non-profits, and social entrepreneurs, along with 38 units of affordable housing built on the site. This project was done in association with Ikar Ar."

"This 6,000 sq ft custom-built home is thoughtfully designed for multigenerational living, accommodating a couple, their young son, and an aging parent. The layout features private suites for each generation, connected by expansive shared living spaces that foster togetherness while respecting independence.  Designed in collaboration with Theriault Design."

Residence | Manotick, Ottawa, ON

"A dilapidated house in Manotick, Ottawa has been completely reimagined for a local doctor and his family.

The redesign blends modern elegance with functionality, featuring open-concept living, natural materials, and abundant light.  Tailored spaces for work, wellness, and family life transform the home into a serene and sustainable retreat."

Minto Office | Meadowlands, Ottawa, ON

"The redesigned Minto rental office in Meadowlands blends operational efficiency with a welcoming, residential feel. Open-plan workstations, warm finishes, and soft lighting create a functional yet inviting environment that enhances staff workflow and puts visitors at ease. "

12 story mixed-use building | King Street, St. John, NB

"The Conceptual Design of a 12-story mixed-use building with three levels of underground parking. It offers retail on the lower two floors, and a mix of micro apartments, 2- and 3- bedrooms units along with roof top penthouses. Designed in collaboration with Ikar Ar." 

"This custom-designed home, created for a couple and their two children, blends multigenerational living comforts with dedicated spaces for the parents and separate units for the children. The layout is thoughtfully designed to adapt and evolve with the changing needs of its inhabitants over time. Designed in collaboration with Theriault Design." 

Conceptual Design

Barrack Green Affordable Housing | St. John, NB

"The project, spearheaded by Kaleidoscope Social Impact in collaboration with Mindful Habitats Inc. and Ikar Ar, involves a four-story building at 67 Broadview Avenue. It will offer a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom units, specifically designed to support women-led families recovering from mental health and addiction challenges." 

Alternate Classroom Design| Ottawa, ON

This project had a participatory design process to maximize student learning in a specialized program classroom. The participants (neurodiverse students and their intervention specialists) were given control over the research agenda, process, and actions. They were able to analyze and reflect on the information generated, to obtain the findings and conclusions of the process, which resulted in the design of the prototype for their classroom.

Paula Street, Napean, ON

"This renovation creates an open-plan living, kitchen, and dining area with arched openings for visual flow and elegance. It includes a new window for light and a bay window with built-in seating to enhance comfort and charm. "

Conceptual Design Affordable Housing | Ocean Drive, NB

Two-story mixed-use building with retail, amenities, and accessible units on the first floor and ten 2- and 3- bedrooms units on the second floor.

Camping Cabins | Oxford Station, Ottawa

A set of 12 minimalist camping cabins designed for immersive nature experiences, each oriented for optimal natural daylighting. Thoughtfully aligned fenestrations frame views, enhance cross-ventilation, and create a rhythmic connection with the landscape. 

Agritecture| Archiculture | North Grenville, ON

A hub that blends architecture and agriculture with community, featuring a greenhouse, edible landscapes, and shaded outdoor gathering spaces. Designed as a living pavilion, it fosters conversation, learning, and celebration around food, architecture and sustainability.

Pharmacy | March Road, Ottawa, ON

A modern pharmacy clinic and retail space designed for accessibility and efficiency, featuring a clear spatial flow between consultation areas, dispensary, and product displays. Natural lighting, calming materials, and intuitive wayfinding create a welcoming environment for wellness and care. 

A Place of Worship & Community Centre  | Ottawa, ON

A serene two-storeyed place of worship designed to foster worship, reflection and community, with a double-height sanctuary, auditorium, and gymnasium on the ground floor and multi-purpose gathering spaces above. Natural light filters through thoughtfully placed openings, emphasizing spiritual calm and architectural harmony. 

Secondary Dwelling Unit | Viewmount Drive, Ottawa, ON

A thoughtfully designed secondary dwelling unit in the basement, featuring a private entrance, ample natural light through optimized window openings, integrated fire safety measures, including egress windows and smoke alarms, along with mechanical and natural ventilation systems, to ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable living environment.
